War Piglet

Piglet is angry. He has discovered something too horrible to contemplate, and yet, he has seen the undeniable truth laid out before him. His entire world, and that of his friends, has been a lie. He determines to take revenge on those who perpetrated this evil, and set right things in the Hundred Acre Wood.

A digital book, "War Piglet" is an original story comprised of 314 NFTs based on the works, now in the public domain, of author A. A. Milne and illustrator E. H. Shepard. The preview image will be of one original pencil drawing in the style of E. H. Shepard which has been painted and composited in Photoshop, and each NFT will include unlockable content of a high resolution mp4 made up of a single paragraph, the original painted and composited drawing, pictures, music, and video clips to provide a more submersive and unique reading experience. Included will be a jpeg of the concept artwork and a seperate copy of the writing.

At heart, I am a storyteller, not an artist. The original artwork included in each NFT is for the sake of adding a certain depth to the final product. Though I freely admit the art lacks much to desire, I hope you find it endearing. It is, after all, original, despite the obvious lack of true talent. The main purpose and focus of this collection is the story, and stories are meant to be read. After much internal debate, I have decided that I will make multiple copies of each of the 314 story NFTs available. They are priced as low as I feel I can make them in order to make it as accessible as possible.

Only the first  5 paragraphs will be minted to start, then the remaining 309 will be minted individually. Each purchase, whether an original purchase or resale, of a "War Piglet" NFT will include a Lifetime 25% discount code for any purchase in the Sheep On Parade NFT store. 

If the series proves popular, there will be special NFTs of varying rarity, comprised of professionally produced artworks depicting different aspects and characters. First buyers of each 1/n special NFTs will receive a free item of their choice from the store with a printed image of the NFT, and a 1/n copy of the original artwork, numbered and signed. First buyer of each 1/1 special NFT will receive a 1/1 free item of their choice from the store with a printed image of the NFT, the original signed artwork, and a 3D printed model of the character depicted in the NFT. All resale purchases of the 1/n and 1/1 special NFTs will receive an unsigned copy of the original artwork. With time, my hope is to add more utility to this project. Currently though, this is a solo project, all of it being created and promoted in my spare time. If at some point "War Piglet" proves popular enough to hire a team, and as I learn more about the NFT space, more value will be added. Though future projects based on "War Piglet" in different forms may be undertaken, "War Piglet" will only be available to read in NFT form.
